I have gone on so many Emmy-winning speeches about you, old friend.  I am beginning to believe my followers are sick of reading such things. 

However, I suppose one more won’t hurt anything.

There really are no real words to summarize what you are to me.  It’s so much more powerful than love, and so far beyond the comprehension of brotherhood that I am certain the reason such a term does not yet exist is because you and I have yet to create one, as it is such a rare and unique case that the definition might literally be ‘The relationship between Erik Lehnsherr and’ followed by your name.

You are unequivocally the greatest friend I have ever known.  Possibly because you are just as stubborn and willful as I am but you stand on the opposite side of the spectrum.  As I am the master of magnetism, you must understand why such a concept appeals to me.  

You are my friend, my brother, my ally, my enemy, my strength, my weakness, my faith and my lack thereof all piled into one man.  You are a young version of that man, I know, but I guarantee you this applies in your time as surely as it does in mine.  I remember you the way you are and were.  And I remember myself just as well.

Rest assured that some things will never change.

And to answer your question:  No.  It is never too late for you, old friend.
